Core Fitness @ Claregalway
Having being run independently from the hotel for a long number of years, the operation of the facility has now been taken back by the hotel owners and re-branded as Core Fitness. With this move has come a full re-design and refurbishment of the fitness area and studio. Once chosen as the preferred supplier Podium 4 Sport began the extensive task of considering design options to ensure that the change was going to make the impact that was needed. It is safe to say that the transformation has been extensive.
Equipment & Layout
Walls were knocked, rooms re-located and dead space opened up and used to create a large and open functional training area with bespoke training rig, dedicated storage units and HIIT cardio equipment and accessories. Unique and diverse items of equipment were introduced for diversity of training and a new and larger free-weights area was added. This area includes premium power racks and plate loaded machines along with a full set of rubber dumbbells and benches.
All of the above is complimented by a full 400 m2 of bespoke manufactured rubber floor.

The team at Podium 4 Sport could not have done a better job and the results speak for themselves. Our members old and new are blown away with the new look facility and we are excited with what the future holds for everyone associated with Core Fitness”
Paul Gill, Claregalway Hotel Owner
Podium 4 Sport are delighted to have been associated with this fantastic project. To be given a clean sheet to work with is any designers dream and the owners and management here offered us such an opportunity. It is safe to say that we have grasped it with both hands and Core Fitness is now one of the best facilities of its kind in the country.
