Gaelcholáiste Charraig Uí Leighin

Overview

Cork Education and Training Board were granted Planning Permission for the construction of three schools on a new site on the Ballinrea Road. This new complex will be known as Carrigaline Education Campus, and will be home to Gaelcholáiste Charraig Uí Leighin, Gaelscoil Charraig Uí Leighin and Scoil Sonas.  Gaelcholáiste Charraig Uí Leighin is a co-educational, multi-denominational post-primary school, operating under the patronage of Cork Education and Training Board. Equipment & Layout

Following a competitive tender evaluation process, Podium 4 Sport (P4S) were nominated as the preferred supplier for all sports hall and fitness equipment and accessories for the new development.

P4S have provided ceiling mounted basketball goals, scoreboards, shot clocks, divider curtain and a whole range of physical education equipment. The students will have the opportunity to partake and experience a significant selection of sports within the state-of-the-art facility before maybe honing in on the ones that they enjoy most.

In addition, a new modern fitness suite that will give the students a solid foundation in what can be achieved within a gym environment and the benefits associated with type of training.
